Regular clear glass has a natural green tint due to the iron when made. You have probably see large 3/4" thick glass dining tables with the dark green edge. As the glass gets thicker, the more prominent the green is. If you have finely finished, or richly colored tables, low-iron glass is the way to go. It lets more of the natural color show through, as well as blending with your furniture. Low-iron glass is also available for your 3/8" and 1/2" frameless shower enclosures.
